I continue to get updates from both Kansasville Fire/Rescue and Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue. Continue to check the websites www.cdc.gov and www.dhs.wisconsin.gov for additonal information about COVID-19. These are challenging times and your Brighton community leaders are committed to doing all we can to work together and be safe.

*There are currently no scheduled meetings of the Plan Commission or Town Board.

*Open burning with a permit is allowed. Contact a Board member to obtain a permit. Please note, per usual, that permits are issued based on the WI DNR burning conditions map showing green (low) or blue (moderate) fire danger.

*The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day originally scheduled for May 2nd has been rescheduled to Saturday, July 25, 2020. if you have any questions, please contact the Kenosha County office at 262-653-2600.

*As of today, April 3rd, the polls will still be open on Tuesday, April 7 from 7 am to 8 pm. If you are planning to vote that day, please understand that there will be changes in the process as we are following state requirements and guidelines. Thank you to everyone who has already voted.

*The Brighton Town Hall continues regularly scheduled office hours of Mon. & Wed. 12-5p.m. and Fri. 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

*Saturday waste and recycling collection continues, however please use social distancing. The bulk collection on April 18 is still taking place as of today.

*Building permits and inspections are still being issued, but postponing interior inspections and practicing social distancing guidelines is recommended.
