After a busy las week with voting and a holiday, I decided to send out the update on Monday. Brighton’s in person voting went well and was as safe as possible, thanks to our clerk Linda Perona and her husband Darren, who built the protective barriers. I continue to get updates from both Kansasville Fire and Rescue and Salem Lakes Fire and Rescue. Continue to check the websites and for additional information about COVID-19. These are challenging times, your community of Brighton is committed to doing all we can to work together and be safe.

  • The Brighton Town Hall continues regularly scheduled office hours, however the building is closed to the public
  • Saturday trash collection continues, however please use social distancing
  • April 18th is the next bulk collection
  • The Annual meeting, scheduled for April 21, will be rescheduled
  • Currently we plan to hold the Plan Commission meeting and Town Board Meeting in May. These may be conducted with call-in capabilities.
  • Please continue to follow the “Safer at Home” guidelines

Be safe and stay healthy,

Susan Crane, Town of Brighton Chair
